Happy Haiku Day, everyone.  Today we celebrate haiku as part of (Inter) National Poetry Month.  And I’m celebrating tanka here as well.  I have a new commentary from this year’s Heron’s Nest anthology highlighting a poem by Tyrone McDonald.  I also have a selection of recent haiku and tanka in the haiku and tanka sections.

Finally, I’m proud to say that I have been included in the latest edition of A New Resonance:  Emerging Voices in English-Language Haiku.  Volume 8 of this series is available at the Red Moon Press webste or you can shoot me an email and I can send you a copy.
